ANMU Complete Walkthrough
This walkthrough covers the entire route through ANMU in order. Start by entering the elevator, survive the fall onto the strange floor, and follow each step below to solve puzzles, collect essential items, and reach an escape route.
Ride the Elevator Down
Enter the elevator at the spawn lobby and press the button. Partway down, the elevator malfunctions and crashes onto a mysterious floor. Stay calm during the fall sequence — you cannot take damage here.
Explore the First Floor
Exit the crashed elevator and search the area. Locate the flashlight on the floor near the debris, then find the first key hidden behind a shelf. This key unlocks the stairwell door leading upward.
Solve the Code Puzzle
On the next floor, read the notes scattered around the room. Each note contains one digit of a four-digit code. Enter the code on the keypad next to the locked door to proceed. The code changes every playthrough, so always check all notes.
Avoid the Wandering Monster
Once you open the coded door, a monster begins patrolling the corridor. Crouch behind crates, move when it faces away, and never sprint in its line of sight. Reach the maintenance door at the far end and slip through.
Restore Power to the Building
Find the breaker room and flip all switches in the order shown on the wall diagram. Powering the building lights up later floors and unlocks the exit elevator on the top floor.
Escape Through the Exit Elevator
Climb to the final floor, insert the exit key you collected along the way into the elevator panel, and ride up to escape. Depending on the secrets you found, you may unlock an alternate ending instead.

The Wanderer
Behavior
Patrols the corridor floor on a fixed looping route, scanning ahead with a narrow vision cone.

Crouch behind crates and move only while its back is turned. Never sprint within earshot.
The Listener
Behavior

ANMU Secrets and Endings
ANMU hides several secrets and more than one way to finish the story. Tick off each item below as you play to unlock the true ending or discover the hidden extras most players miss on their first run.
Find the hidden room behind the shelf on the crash floor (interact with the loose panel).
Reward: Contains a collectible figurine and a lore note.
Collect all lore notes scattered across every floor.
Reward: Reveals the backstory of the building and unlocks extra dialogue at the ending.
Flip the breakers in the reverse order shown on the wall diagram.
Reward: Opens a secret hatch near the breaker room with a bonus item.
Ending 1 — Escape: insert the key into the exit elevator and ride up to safety.
Requirement: Complete all floors without entering the hidden side room on the final floor.
Ending 2 — True Ending: explore the hidden side room on the final floor before escaping.
Requirement: Collect all lore notes and enter the hidden room on the exit floor before using the elevator.

ANMU Beginner's Guide
ANMU is a horror-style elevator game where each floor throws a new puzzle, hazard, or threat at you. This guide covers the basics so your first ride isn't your last — how to play, what to watch for, and the most common ways new players die.
You spawn into a lobby and board a large elevator. The elevator stops at random floors, doors open, and each floor presents a puzzle, hazard, or hostile entity. Survive the floor's challenge and return to the elevator before the timer runs out to continue to the next one. Each floor is different, so no two runs feel exactly the same.
Controls & Movement
Use standard Roblox controls: WASD to move, Space to jump, Shift to sprint, and E or click to interact with objects, keypads, and items. Sprint is your escape tool but drains stamina — don't waste it wandering. Practice interacting quickly; many floors give you limited time to solve and return.
Always read the room before moving: look for clues, exit routes, and hazards. Stay aware of the return path to the elevator — knowing how to get back fast saves lives. Watch the timer when a floor has one, and keep an eye on lights, sounds, and entity movements, since they telegraph danger before it hits.
The top killers of new players: sprinting blindly into hazard floors, ignoring the elevator timer and getting locked out, standing still to stare at entities instead of moving to safety, and touching levers or objects without reading the room's clues first. Almost every early death is avoidable with patience.
For your first few rides, focus purely on survival — skip secrets and badges until you recognize floor types. Follow experienced players and watch what they do.
